Designs and develops large-scale global incentive competitions by applying first-principles thinking, research, and quantitative analysis to solve complex problems across energy, health, food, and other impact areas.
XPRIZE Overview
XPRIZE is an established global leader in designing and executing large-scale competitions to solve humanity’s greatest challenges. As a 501©3, our unique model democratizes innovation by incentivizing crowd-sourced, scientifically viable solutions to create a more equitable and abundant future for all. Since our founding in 1994, we’ve launched $519 million in prize competitions that are driving more than $31 billion in social and economic impact — a 60x return on philanthropic investment. These competitions not only de-risk early-stage breakthrough ideas but also mobilize capital, talent, and momentum to accelerate solutions from concept to real-world scale.
We operate across 5 areas of impact, including:
Join XPRIZE to help create meaningful impact as we strive to empower humanity to achieve breakthroughs and architect a more equitable and abundant future for all.
Position Description
XPRIZE is seeking a First-Principles Prize Designer to lead the development of bold, high-impact global incentive competitions that accelerate innovation for the benefit of humanity. The role functions as a product manager for Prize Design projects, combining research, quantitative reasoning, design thinking, and communication to produce competition designs that target the breakthroughs behind an equitable and abundant future.
What sets this role apart is how the work starts. Faced with a new problem, you start by building your own understanding from the ground up before turning to the literature. You develop a working sense of the problem’s scale and structure early, apply order-of-magnitude estimates and “whiteboard” the first-order math — enough to judge which incentives and metrics will meaningfully move the needle — then test those ideas against the world’s leading experts. Every prize shares some common themes, and you’re energized by the thought of being flexible and adaptable enough to apply that mental model across five diverse areas of impact at XPRIZE. You work closely with XPRIZE domain leaders and technology staff to explain your framing of the problem, refine the implications of your findings, and in doing so, create the next great XPRIZE.
From a technical perspective, the ideal candidate thinks like a scientist and communicates like a generalist. You are able to build a credible working model of an unfamiliar problem quickly, and know when to go deeper. This allows you to move (for example) from designing a prize around the next breakthrough in fusion energy, to the effects of AI on society, to biotech for spaceflight, all in the same year.
The First-Principles Prize Designer leads end-to-end design, from initial ideation through the XPRIZE Global Visioneering process, to delivery of the final design report. You steward every phase: defining the problem, choosing the most effective prize direction, setting competition criteria, establishing phases and milestones, and building budgets across the full lifecycle of a prize. You ensure that each concept is well-researched, feasible, fundable, and positioned to win funding from a future sponsor. You report to the Prize Design Director and work within structured, accelerated timelines alongside a Project Manager, Domain Leads, Advancement, and cross-functional partners in finance, marketing, and operations. The role also involves regular engagement with sponsors and subject matter experts to keep technical rigor and strategic impact aligned.
Prize Designers also steward XPRIZE’s design methodology, refining internal processes, capturing lessons learned, and representing the approach through thought leadership, workshops, and publications. Beyond individual projects, they contribute to organization-wide efforts such as Global Visioneering and other ideation that surfaces future XPRIZE opportunities.

Senior Technical Product Manager owns the full lifecycle of Sezzle's banking core platform, from discovery through launch, managing ledger systems, accounts, and money movement infrastructure.
The salary range for this role is $5,000 - $8,000 per month (Gross in USD)

If you’re excited about pushing boundaries in tech and delivering a game-changing experience for consumers and merchants alike, come join us at Sezzle and help create the future of shopping!
About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Technical Product Manager who is best in class with a high IQ plus a high EQ. This role presents an exciting opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a rapidly growing team, with abundant prospects for career advancement.
Sezzle is building the platform that will carry us from a BNPL provider into a full-stack financial institution. This role owns the system at the center of that: Sezzle’s banking core — the ledger, accounts and balances, and the money movement that every future Sezzle financial product will run on.
You would own it end to end. Discovery, architecture and vendor decisions, requirements, build, launch, and everything after — not a slice of someone else’s roadmap, but the full product lifecycle for the platform itself. You’d work directly with Engineering, Finance, Compliance, Treasury, and Risk, with real authority over how this gets built.
Ideally you’ve built something like this before. If you haven’t, but you’ve owned a ledger, a payments platform, an issuing program, or other financial infrastructure — and you’re the kind of person who learns a domain properly rather than around the edges — we want to talk to you. What matters most is that you’ve owned real infrastructure and that you’re willing to go deep on the parts you don’t know yet.

Senior/Staff Product Manager leads 0-1 development of AI-powered leads product for law firms, owning customer workflows and product strategy end-to-end.
EvenUp is on a mission to close the justice gap using technology and AI. We empower personal injury lawyers and victims to get the justice they deserve. Our products enable law firms to secure faster settlements, higher payouts, and better outcomes for victims injured through no fault of their own in vehicle collisions, accidents, natural disasters, and more.
We are one of the fastest-growing vertical SaaS companies in history, and we are just getting started. EvenUp is backed by top VCs, including Bessemer Venture Partners, Bain Capital Ventures, SignalFire, and Lightspeed. We are looking to expand our team with talented, driven, and collaborative individuals who seek to have a lasting impact. Learn more at www.evenuplaw.com.
We’re looking for a Senior/Staff/Principal Product Manager to build the future of how law firms acquire new clients, shaping our emerging leads product from the ground up.
You’ll be on the Case Lifecycle product team, reporting to the Head of Case Lifecycle, JJ Miclat. Our group conceives, builds, architects, launches, and grows EvenUp’s suite of applications for law firms that tackles the personal injury case experience end-to-end from leads (the new plaintiff intake experience), to matters (cases), all the way to proceedings (litigation), and settlement/disbursement. You’ll be focused on leading and crafting 0-1 experiences around our very nascent (albeit burgeoning) leads product that helps law firms intake, qualify, and acquire new plaintiffs, with quality and at scale. This product serves as the initial catalyst between the dynamic partnership between plaintiffs and law firms. We’re looking for a Senior/Staff PM who knows how to take complex user problems and transform them into elegant, AI-powered workflows that people actually use.
This is a role for someone who has shipped B2B SaaS products end-to-end, operates as a systems thinker, is obsessed with customer workflows, and successfully launched LLM/LMM based products that are well loved by the market. You’ll own the product experience for the very top-of-funnel for the personal injury law firms that we work with, working closely with engineering, design, data science, product marketing, and product operations to ensure that those that are injured are connected with the best lawyers, to ultimately get the justice that they deserve.
This is a hybrid role based out of our San Francisco office, with an expectation of at least 3 days per week in office.
What you’ll do:
Own the full product lifecycle for the leads/intake experience for law firms, from discovery and definition through launch and iteration.
Conceptualize, build, ship, and optimize products around lead qualification, outbound marketing for firms, agents for inbound lead qualification and intake, and bi-directional referral workflows.
Deeply understand how legal teams work, identifying friction points and translating them into product decisions that drive meaningful workflow improvements.
Partner with engineering and ML teams to build LLM-powered conversational AI and automated scribes that are reliable, accurate, and genuinely useful to case managers, paralegals, and lawyers.
Define and track success metrics, using both qualitative research and quantitative analysis to continuously improve the product.
Collaborate with design, customer success, and go-to-market teams to ensure smooth launches and tight feedback loops post-release.
What we look for:
4 to 7+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, with a track record of shipping products for both enterprise and SMB customers that have garnered meaningful adoption.
Hands-on experience building and shipping AI-powered products, with direct working knowledge of agents and LLMs/LMMs. This is a requirement, not a bonus.
You love solving intricately complex problems and applying system thinking to craft scalable solutions.
Strong user research instincts – you know how to uncover what users actually need, not just what they ask for.
Proven ability to take a product from concept through launch in a cross-functional environment.
Clear communicator who can translate between technical complexity and user experience.
Comfortable moving fast in a high-growth environment where priorities shift and ambiguity is part of the job.
Conviction that agentic technology, when bounded by tight guardrails, can be architected to be the ultimate arbiter around how justice is served when it comes to legal matters.
High agency, tenacity, and deep empathy towards your customers. Takes work seriously, but doesn’t take themselves too seriously.
Benefits & Perks:
As part of our total rewards package, we offer attractive benefits and perks to our employees, including:
Choice of medical, dental, and vision insurance plans for you and your family.
Additional insurance coverage options for life, accident, or critical illness.
Flexible paid time off, sick leave, short-term and long-term disability.
10 US observed holidays, and Canadian statutory holidays by province.
A home office stipend.
401(k) for US-based employees and RRSP for Canada-based employees.
Paid parental leave.
A local in-person meet-up program.
Hubs in San Francisco and Toronto.
(Please note the above benefits & perks are for full-time employees)
